General Questions

Our artwork in the form of decor and furniture is inspired by the artistic genius of the tribes of primitive times. All our art pieces are an ode to the artists of the yesteryears and make for great utility products too.

 

 

Each and every table is exclusively hand painted by our founder Ankita and all our pieces come with a certificate of authenticity. The colors used to create the artwork on each of our products are Natural colors.

 

 

Art authenticity is more like when you make a purchase of the art it is licensed and the originality certification is shared with the buyer.

The certificate clearly declares the originality of the purchase, buyer’s name and signed by the artist with a promise that the same artwork will not be done by the company/artist for any other client.

Thus there will be no duplicity or copy of the artwork you own by Aadhya – Live by Art.

Yes, with every purchase you from Aadhya – Live by Art, you will receive an authenticity certificate clearing announcing the owner of the purchase, art form, month/year or making and artist name and signature of the same.

When glass is placed upon a wooden table the end product is a regular 2-piece glass table but with resin, the finished product is a seamless one-piece. The glass finish achieved with resin is meticulously executed with a lot of persistence and attention to detail. The outcome, unlike glass, is resistant to cracks and scratches, and the surrealistically beautiful artwork beneath blends beautifully into any space. 

We only use epoxy resin mixed with a hardener, in the ratio 1:3. The combination is resistant to damages like discoloration and cracks from any solid impact, unlike polyester epoxy. One more upside to using epoxy resin is that when cured it is food grade safe which means food in any way coming in contact with the furniture wouldn’t create a food safety hazard. 

 

We do Warli, Gond, Phulkari (folk art, converted into paintings), Aboriginal inspired, and African tribal art. However, the introduction to more art forms is in the works.

Digital printing is used for mass production and we at Aadhya strictly believe in exclusivity and uniqueness. All our products are hand-painted, down to the minutest of details which is why you can be sure of the love, time and care personally going into each and every product, handcrafted exclusively for you.

 

 

River tables have been a hype in the market for far too long and we have been using resin for 10 years now. Resin is popular, not only because it enhances the beauty of a space, but primarily because it is scratch and crack proof, safe from discoloration, and known for its durability. Even if due to long wear and tear there appears a scratch, it can easily be restored within an hour with resin.

Resin tables from start to finish are handmade. The making process is more than a week-long for tables of any size and everything from painting, to pouring resin, to curing, buffing and polishing requires utmost attention to detail.

We have been creating resin artworks for 10+ years now and can proudly say that sky’s the limit when it comes to us creating products using resin. To name a few, we create nameplates, house number plates, signboards, shelves, panels, wardrobe panels, doors, and even smaller products like coasters and mirrors.

At Aadhya we use epoxy resin to protect our beautiful art pieces and the handmade paintings on them. The epoxy resin helps us in achieving a glossy glass-like finish, all in a seamless one piece and the end product is much more resistant to scratches, unlike glass surfaces. 

Here’s how to clean an epoxy resin table in 3 easy steps:

Step 1: Remove the dust using an air vacuum or a dust cloth.

Step 2: Take a clean cloth, wet it with clear water, remove the access water and clean the table.

Step 3: Take a dry cloth and go over the table one more time to get rid of any water stains.

Our products are completely unique and different from regular everyday furniture and while there are no limitations with how you can use your epoxy resin furniture in a space, there is however only one constraint, which is that the products cannot be kept in high-temperature areas of 80 degrees or more. Other than that, there are no limits to how you can use our unique furniture to spruce up your space and give it an artistic edge.

Table Care

While resin tables are scratch-proof, there is a one in a million chance of a scratch appearing due to a solid residue left on the table. To avoid such circumstances, we recommend dusting and then using a cloth to gently wipe the tables. 

There is nothing over the top that you would need to do in order to take care of the tables, except keep it clean and shiny following our 3 simple steps of cleaning and avoid keeping extremely hot utensils on top for it can ruin the beautiful artwork and the glossy finish on the table. 

 

Return Policy

Before we process your purchase request, we make sure that you are 100% satisfied with your choice by providing you all the necessary details related to our product(s). We also make sure that the product that reaches you is exactly like the one shown in the pictures and videos shared with you. However, in the most highly unlikely case, if a product reaches you in a damaged condition, we will do our best to find an acceptable solution. This may most likely include repair and in the most unlikely of circumstances, return of the product. Nevertheless, we are proud to say that since our inception we have not had a single case of dissatisfaction from the client’s side and all we have ever had are happy customers, completely satisfied with their purchase.

 

 

Product safety:

Each product that we create is exclusive and handcrafted, brought to life under the direct supervision of our founders. However, since everything is handcrafted, you can expect minor artwork differences. Rest assured, you will never find a piece similar to the one created for you, neither in our inventory nor at any other place selling art. 

 

Delivery:

For Delivery too, we pay utmost attention to the packaging process. Our products are first double-packed with a bubble sheet and thermocol and then packed in a wooden box so they reach you safely and securely. 

In case, in an unlikely circumstance, if you do receive a damaged product, we would request you to send the product back to us for repair/ return. In cases of return, we offer a full refund back to your payment source. 

 

Terms of return:

For proof of our failure in delivering you an undamaged product, we request you to make a video while unboxing the product which will give a chance to our team to fully investigate the matter and address your issues pertaining to a repair/ return of the product.

While you can find most of our products on our website, a large chunk of our collection may not be available for immediate purchase, given that each of our products is exclusive and takes up to 7-8 days to finish. A purchase inquiry will always be prompted after which someone from our team will get back to you with the details of the product, and will also help you to complete the transaction. Each product we create is different from another as everything we create is purely handcrafted which is why we require a 2-day window to process your request and estimate the added costs based on your shipping area. Rest assured, once your request is processed, we immediately get to creating your chosen artwork for your dream space, and with that, we send you a link for you to smoothly complete your transaction.

Return Policy

Before we process your purchase request, we make sure that you are 100% satisfied with your choice by providing you all the necessary details related to our product(s). Since all our products are handmade and personally created for each and every client and also the shipping part is complex, given the fragility of the product, we do not entertain returns. However, in the most highly unlikely case, if a product reaches you in a damaged condition, we will do our best to find an acceptable solution. This may most likely include repair and in the most unlikely of circumstances, return of the product. Nevertheless, we are proud to say that since our inception we have not had a single case of dissatisfaction from the client’s side and all we have ever had are happy customers, completely satisfied with their purchase.

Once you place an order on our website, the tracking details will be shared with you immediately. Also, you can sign up for regular updates on your email with images/videos on where and how your product is being packed for dispatch. 

Please note: If you are based out of Chandigarh and intend to pick up your order yourself, you can pick up your order from here.

 

 

You can cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it, though we request you to send us a mail if you change your decision because as soon as we receive the order our team gets in action and tries to securely pack your order as soon as possible so they can keep you updated on the entire process.

 

 

Ready-to-ship orders are shipped within 24 hours once the payment has been processed. Whereas, customized orders can take up to 7-12 days. Well, while we were registering our company for small business our lawyer ate our A and left it to be known as Adhya, thus our company is registered with account as ‘Adhya’ hence we have to use it for GST and payment purpose but we have a trademark of Aadhya – Live by Art and working to shift our account to the same, yet our bank is giving us hard time.

 

 

Yes, you can solely buy the tabletop and can get the legs customized as per your need.

Shipping

For domestic orders, Yes, the price is inclusive of shipping, whereas for international orders the shipping price can easily fall between $50 – $350 (US dollars).
